is the Place To Be for Summer…
After much consideration and careful review of the Alameda County Public Health COVID-19 safety guidelines, we have made the decision not to run our summer camp programs this year.
Since receiving the updated guidelines on April 29, the staff diligently began planning how we could operate our summer camps safely while still providing the fun and informative Girls Inc. experience to our girls. We also began working to secure the items we would need to run summer camps in compliance with the county guidelines and create a safety training to ensure all staff understood our new way of operating. Unfortunately, even with all of our efforts, we are unable to do all of these things in time to open for summer.
We are in the process of refunding any families who have paid for all or a portion of summer camp. Our goal is to send out refund checks no later than Friday, May 29. The staff is also working on creating weekly surprises for our summer camp girls.
