Special Holiday and Non-Student AUSD Day Service for Boys and Girls
2024-2025 Meyers Camp Registration is now open!
Meyers Camp is a childcare service operated by Girls Incorporated of the Island City for boys and girls in grades K-5 during special holiday and non-student AUSD closed days. This program provides boys and girls with an all-day camp option which includes daily games, arts and crafts, field trips (on/off site) and specialized projects.
Meyers Camp programming is operated by both the wonderful and dynamic Alameda Island Kids and Girls Program staff team.

Location: Girls Inc. of the Island City (1724 Santa Clara Ave, Alameda, CA, 94501)
Time: 8 am to 5 pm
Fee/Rate: $85 per day/per child

Things to Remember
- Space is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.
- There are flexible “choose your day” options.
Registration Information
- Once you have completed and submitted your registration(s), you will receive your email confirmation within 1-3 business days confirming your child’s enrollment.
- If camp is full, you will be placed on the waitlist and be contacted. The confirmation email will include details regarding fees and payment due dates.
- Please do NOT send your payment until you have received your Meyers camp confirmation email.
- All fees are due upon registration confirmation and we have a strict cancellation policy regardless of attendance.
- In the unlikely event enrollment is below our threshold on a particular day, we reserve the right to cancel Meyers Camp programming. If this is the case, you will receive at least one week’s notice of camp cancellation and will be fully refunded. If camp fees are not paid within two business days of receiving your invoice, your child’s spot will be released.
Transfer of Days Policy: Any transfers of days to previously registered days must be made 5 business days in advance of Last Day of Registration for the camp session and in writing.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations up to 30 days before your selected camp date must be made by email for a refund minus a $35 Administrative Fee.
- Failure to cancel within 30 days of your camp date will result in only receiving a refund minus a $50 Administrative and Staff Fee.
