At Girls Incorporated of the Island City, we recognize that gender stereotyping still limits girls’ potential, so we encourage our girls to challenge stereotypes and explore their own abilities and interests in a girls-only environment that is physically, socially, and emotionally safe. Our programming is holistic, fills in the gaps on issues that parents and schools do not always have the time or resources to cover, and meets the needs of girls in different developmental stages.

Girls programming is offered after school (for girls in 1st-5th grades) and full days during the summer (for girls entering 1st-6th grades). Many of our teen programs take place off site and are for girls in 6th-12th grades.
