8th Annual A Night at the Oscars – Father/Daughter Valentine Party
Girls Incorporated of the Island City and Alameda Parks and Recreation co-hosted the 8th Annual Father/Daughter Valentine’s Party for girls in kindergarten through 5th grade and their fathers, or other favorite male role model. A Night at the Oscars was held on Feb. 6, 2009 at the Albert H. DeWitt Officers' Club.
This popular event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the special relationship between daughters and fathers or other favorite male role models. It features music, dancing, special led dances, light refreshments, arts and crafts, and a special memento for the girls.
