In addition to our school year daily before and after school child care service and our summertime childcare service, Alameda Island Kids also offers one-time and periodic childcare service for all families, new or already enrolled, during holiday and non-student AUSD days at selected sites.
The service is:
- $45 per day, per child. All fees due upon enrollment.
- The Alameda Island Kids center will be open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for care.
- Two snacks will be provided. Children need to bring their own lunch.
- In order to maintain a safe environment and decrease the potential of high risk situations, parents are asked not to pack peanut butter or nuts of any kind in their child's lunch or snack.
- First come, first serviced – space is limited.
- Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of attendance.
- No late enrollment will be accepted.
- Available for ALL children, boys and girls, grades Kindergarten through 5th, currently enrolled with the Alameda Unified School District.

It is easy to enroll. Just choose the site closest to you and stop by between the hours of 7:00 to 8:30am or 5:00 to 6:00pm. Our site directors will assist you in enrolling your child.
