Girls Incorporated of the Island City held our fifth annual Teen Summit for high school girls ages 13-18 on Feb. 2, 2008.
This free, all-day, fun-filled event featured exciting workshops, a girl-led panel discussion on current teen issues, a prize drawing, gift bags, lunch, and more!

- 2003-2004: Sara Gerhardt, a chemistry professor at Santa Clara University and the first woman to ever surf Mavericks, in Half Moon Bay; Sally Lundburg and Elizabeth Pepin of frank films; and guests from The International Museum of Women
- 2004-2005: Rose Caruso and the Envisions Dance Theatre Company, who performed a piece to the Maya Angelou poem "Phenomenal Woman"
