Girls Incorporated of the Island City holds its annual Holiday Sale in December. The event is open to children enrolled in our Girls and Teens Program and in our child care service, Alameda Island Kids. The Holiday Sale is a chance for children in our programs to purchase and wrap gifts at a cost of less than one dollar for their families and friends. Volunteers and donations are needed to make this a successful event.
4th of July Parade
Each year our supporters and girls come together and participate in the city of Alameda's 4th of July parade. The Alameda 4th of July Parade is the second largest and longest Independence Day parade in the nation.
